Rubbed Bronzed is a very dark finish that looks somewhat shiny, almost as though oil was rubbed into it. Rubbed Bronze appears almost black, but it is really a dark reddish brown color.

Solid brass is an alloy of zinc and copper. Brass hardware does not tarnish easily and therefore requires little maintainance.
